What is a Cable Clamp?

Cable Clamps are also known as cable retainers, cord grips, cable glands and strain reliefs. They relieve pressure for the cable that holds the the weight of the pendant light.

We sell cable clamps that are CONICAL or CYLINDRICAL. This describes their shape.

Cable clamps are attached to lampholders to relieve the pressure on the fabric cable so the wires do not pull out.

Cable clamps are attached to ceiling roses to relieve the pressure on the fabric cable so the wires do not pull out.

CONCIAL cable clamps are simple plastic clamps that come in white, black and transparent.

Some cable clamps come in longer lengths: 7cm and 15cm for aesthetic reasons.

CYLINDRICAL cable clamps come in plastic and metal finishes and are attached with all-thread and a nut.
